My Book Reading - The Lost Symbol

The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

Robert Langdon is back! This time in US Capitol roaming from streets to streets in search of ancient wisdom. As with other Dan Brown novels, this also revolves around science and ancient mysteries, from Isaac Newton to George Washington, all in a span of 10 hours.

The story takes one through the Masonic secrets and blends science and faith very well. Secret societies have been favorite with Dan Brown and here also he narrates their rituals and functioning in utmost detail. Though unlike The Da Vinci Code the story does become predictable in parts.

The highlight is the way faith and science has been mixed and how all the religions across the world gives the same message. And yes, this time Dan Brown takes us beyond Christianity and also cover Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism and many more. Read it if you liked Angels and Demons and are interested in Noetic science!
